I recently read the book “Start with Why” by Simon Sineck and I thought what better way to put out Technopath’s first blog post than to start with why. Why Technopath?
Why I started Technopath is very personal to me.
At the beginning of 2015, I was just coming out of the worst period of my life. I was surviving and starting to pull myself up out of a dark place, but I was hanging on by a thread.
Over the next year and many twists and turns later I began my Salesforce journey. I had been a nonprofit fundraiser and marketer for years and began consulting with nonprofits to implement their Salesforce…learning as I went with the help of a mentor and the Salesforce community. I gained some experience and because of my willingness to move I was hired as a Junior Admin at a company in Boca Raton, Florida.
I now have 6 Salesforce certifications and 5 years of Salesforce admin experience. I have comfort in knowing that my skill set is highly desired and lucrative.
I went from surviving to thriving because of Salesforce. I also saw the impact that Salesforce had on nonprofits during this journey. Now, I want to help other people and organizations to thrive.
That’s why I founded Technopath. That’s why I am here.
